Have you ever felt that your abilities are not going to get you anywhere? I mean, why should they?

We all find it impossible to believe that we could attain success through our skills and abilities. It is just too difficult to think we deserve it, that we are capable, and that we are worthy. We tend to think success should be much harder, why should anyone choose us, and that someone else is much more qualified. Who are we to experience success?

In this meeting, we will take a close look at our own self-sabotaging thoughts and beliefs that lead to us acting (or not taking any action) in ways that undermine our intentions. As coaches, one common example is how we feel we must have a certain certification in order to coach, we look to those external validations to build our confidence. Yet, certification after certification, the quest to confidence in our abilities still alludes us. What is truly happening here and how can we make a change?

Please join us in this intimate group discussion, where we will present the topic of Imposter Syndrome and the Zen of Imperfection. We will open it up for all to share our experiences and maybe even coach a person or two so we can all benefit from unpacking this behavior. Then, we pair up to determine action steps each of us can take to move forward past our own self-sabotage.
