Exponentially developing technology—especially artificial intelligence (AI)—brings huge promise but also confusing peril. AI has been called “The new electricity,” and 9.5 out of 10 CEOs expect their job to be disrupted by it. One study predicts nearly half of all jobs will be automated within 15 years. AI learning models double in size every 3 months and affect every aspect of our lives from our smartphones to our grocery stores to our schools. There are even AI applications for coaching. Overwhelmed at the thought of so much change? So are your clients, unless they’re not yet aware of its scale. We have developed coaching models that encapsulate our methods for bringing individuals and organizations to greater levels of resilience and this session is an introduction to those models and methods.

Our presenters: Peter Scott, ACC and Pierre Dussault, PCC

Peter Scott is a futurist, author, and technology expert. A Master’s degree from Cambridge University led to thirty years of working for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A parallel career in business coaching added a uniquely valuable perspective on the implications of artificial intelligence. He teaches how to thrive through the coming era of technological disruption. He’s appeared before highly diverse audiences in several countries, including testifying before a British Parliamentary group on the impact of AI and giving two TEDx talks. He has written a book and hosts a podcast on the impact of artificial intelligence.

Pierre Dussault Eng is a Leadership/Management Consultant. He brings his unique life and work experiences to help Entrepreneurs, Engineers, and Managers, be more effective and engaged and navigate through major transitions in their lives and work. Previously, Pierre had worked 18 years in the telecom industry and, 5 years in civil engineering, mostly as an Engineer/Front Line Manager, in 6 Canadian provinces and two US states. Pierre is devoting the second part of his life to fulfill his two passions, the evolution of human beings and technology.
