As a master mentor coach and ICF portfolio assessor, Tijen says that where she observes coaches struggle the most, is the agenda-setting process. In her methodology of Genco Method Coaching with Precision©, Tijen brings in the principles of Genco Method Holistic Listening© to deeply listen and understand the client for uncovering underlying issues that are in the way of what the client wants. Subsequently, utilizing Lean/Six Sigma Methodology to precisely define the session outcomes regardless of the type whether it is an action, re-action, restoration, resolution, emotional processing, Behavioral change, neural response alteration, or energetic shift.

The three-part session consists of:
• Genco Method Coaching with Precision Concepts© Introduction: At the beginning of this session, Tijen will introduce participants to Genco Method Coaching with Precision concepts around the agenda-setting process.
• Collective Coaching Exercise: In this part of the session, the group collectively works with the client under Tijen’s mentorship towards setting and progressing the agenda in the direction of the client's desired state, while receiving in the moment feedback from Tijen and learning from her demonstrations.
• Learning Integration: The session will end with participants' discussions and takeaways.

The desired goal of this expert forum is to enhance the coach's ability to set the agenda at the level where the real underlying issue resides so that the session outcomes become organically transformative and sustainable for the client.

Takeaways from this event include:
• Awareness of common mistakes gets in the way of deep listening, understanding, and responding to the client during the agenda-setting process.
• Best practices that support clearly defining the session outcomes based on the client’s underlying needs.
• Revising the agenda as needed while the session progresses, and the client’s awareness enhances.
• Ability to journey with the client in the direction they wish to go instead of being rigid and asking the client to choose a scope.
• Deepened self-confidence in listening to the coach’s intuition and offering further flexibility into the session.
