Meet the Speaker
Melinda Glowacki has over 25 years of experience in education, serving as a high school English teacher, a Director of Literacy, and a leadership coach. Over the past decade, she has designed and delivered countless hours of leadership coaching and professional learning for educators and leaders in the private sector. Serving as a head coach in a large school district, Melinda helped spearhead group coach training for hundreds of administrators and teacher leaders, refining her personalized approach to leadership development along the way. Her writing focuses on the impact of leadership coaching and effective teaching practices, with articles featured in Coaching World! (International Coaching Federation), Educational Leadership (ASCD), and California English (California Association of Teachers of English). She is a highly regarded public speaker and is proud to have been selected as a presenter for the 2026 annual ISTE+ASCD conference this June. Her presentations are designed to engage and inspire audiences, leaving participants with tangible skills and new insights to apply in their own work.
Melinda holds a Master’s in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Leadership and Performance Certified Coaching certificate through ACT Leadership at Brown University. In addition to her extensive coaching experience in education, she holds an ACC from the International Coaching Federation and is an active member of ICF’s Orange County Chapter. Currently, she supervises teacher candidates in the School of Education at the University of California, Irvine, and consults for local educational organizations.
In 2025, Melinda created CoachED to provide personalized leadership coaching and training to educators and industry leaders. She believes in the transformative power of coaching, not only in a professional setting but also in people’s ability to connect with others and enhance their lived experience.
