In today’s global coaching landscape, mastering the International Coaching Federation Core Competencies requires more than technical skill—it requires the ability to navigate difference with awareness, presence, and humility. This coach development session is grounded in the premise “you can’t take clients to places you have not gone yourself,” and will expand interpersonal awareness and competency in three essential intercultural capabilities deemed essential by the ICF in 2025:

• Global Cultural Competency: Recognizing how identity shapes experience.
• Advanced Cultural Competency: Navigating bias, power, and difference in real time.
• Cultural Humility: Sustaining curiosity and self-reflection.

This session will include awareness building, introspective activities, multimedia presentation, coach sharing, peer to peer coaching, plus feedback and action planning.

Key Takeaways

In this session coaches will:

• Begin to identify their own patterns of bias and assumptions.
• Experience their presence in moments of cultural tension and explore techniques to maintain coach effectiveness.
• Practice applying culturally responsive coaching questions that deepen trust, expand awareness, and support client growth across differences

Meet the Speaker

Kristine is the founder and CEO of The Confidence Network LLC. She leads a global team of dedicated consultants and coaches focused on increasing workforce potential, performance and belonging by building intercultural confidence and competence at all levels. Her differentiation lies in a neuro-adaptive leadership approach which allows clients to better understand how to manage obstacles, navigate biases and leverage strengths to turn goals into behaviors. As a bicultural/bilingual (Spanish/English) Latina, she has learned the importance of embracing who you are and learning how to see one’s differences as an asset. This awareness has given her a unique ability to guide others on their authentic leadership journey.
